3D Televisions



A 3D television, 3D-TV is a type of television that uses the techniques of a 3 dimensional presentation like the stereoscopic capture, 2D-plus-depth, 3D display that is a special viewing device that is used to project a normal program into a 3D field and multi-view capture.
Different techniques are used in producing and displaying three dimensional motion pictures. The basic need definitely is to display any kind of offset pictures that are filtered separately to the right and the left eye. There are two strategies that have been used to accomplish the aim such as the viewer has to wear eyeglasses that would help them to separate various offset images to every eye or have light source separate the images based on the directions into the eyes of the user. However there is common 3D display technology that is been used to project stereoscopic image pairs to the viewer.

However one of the major selling factors for any 3D television is the fact that they can produce a 3D effect very similar to a movie theater.
Most of the televisions in the market come along with the 3D glasses. They can be worn by any individual and the biggest advantage is that they can be worn over the optical glasses as well. In some cases, the glass comes along with the television whereas in some unique cases you would have purchase them as an extra accessory. Most of the televisions are designed with crystal shutter glass. This glass includes a battery, liquid crystal lens and small electrons. This glass combines with the television with the help of infrared radiation. However the disadvantage is that the glass manufactured by one manufacturer cannot be used for another television of a different brand. Also, there are restrictions put on the number of glasses provided.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, the thickness is reduced and thereby the connectivity gets better. Some of the televisions also consist of a 20 degree rotational swivel stand that helps you in moving the television for any connection purpose. Most of the 3D televisions have four inputs for the HDMI cable that is present in the back side. It also comes with the provision to connect to the DVD, cable box, Blu Ray player or high definition set top box. The price certainly depends on the features that the television offers, however for people who love to experience the best 3 dimensional picture quality from home then these televisions are the best choice.
